Tai Chi Chuan (also known as a taoist yoga) is a soft martial art that has been described as meditation in motion.
This class will focus on fundamental principles including body alignment and movement of energy. We will also learn coordinated breathing with each movement which in turn stills the mind leading to focused attention and awareness.
Among the many documented health benefits of Tai Chi are: better coordination and balance, increased circulation, focused mindfulness, a huge decrease in anxiety and stress......And, it's fun!
